Projects

RRPN operates as a portfolio of community projects — each one rooted in a real place, a real recovery, or a real policy fight.

Policy work is strongest when it grows from the ground up. Rather than starting with abstractions, RRPN builds its research, advocacy, and education around the places where state law and local land use actually collide. Each project stands on its own — with its own community, its own voice, and its own goals — while drawing on RRPN's shared policy research and statewide perspective.

Altadena Recovery Watch

Born of the 2025 Eaton Fire, Altadena Recovery Watch keeps thousands of residents informed and engaged on the state land-use legislation shaping their rebuilding — including SB 1090 and SB 1123.

More projects to come

RRPN's model is built to travel. If your community is navigating the intersection of state law and local rebuilding, adaptation, or planning, we'd like to hear from you.
