This privacy policy explains how the Responsible and Resilient Planning Network (“RRPN,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use rrpn.org and sign up for our communications.
What we collect
- Newsletter signups. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address (and your name, if you choose to provide it).
- Email you send us. If you contact info@rrpn.org, we receive your email address and whatever information you include in your message.
- Basic site analytics. If we use analytics, we collect aggregate, non-identifying information about site usage (such as pages visited). We do not sell this data.
How we use it
- To send you the updates you asked for — newsletter issues, bill-tracking explainers, and announcements about RRPN’s work.
- To respond to your inquiries.
- To understand, in aggregate, how people use the site so we can improve it.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your email address with third parties except the service providers we use to operate the site and send email (for example, our email newsletter provider), and only for those purposes.
Newsletter and unsubscribing
Every newsletter we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email info@rrpn.org at any time and we will remove you from our list.
How long we keep it
We keep subscriber information for as long as you remain subscribed, and correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond and keep records of our work. You may request deletion of your information at any time.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@rrpn.org. California residents may have additional rights under California law.
Minors
Our site and newsletter are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
Our site links to other websites (for example, legislative information sites and news coverage). This policy applies only to rrpn.org; other sites have their own privacy policies.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post changes on this page with an updated “last updated” date.
